Central Wood Heating
Ignition Door: exclusively built to allow for lighting the fire after filling the chamber with wood, a suction fan creates strong negative pressure preventing smoke from escaping through the door, air flows only to exactly where you light the fire, and it creates direct access to the bottom of the chamber for easy maintenance.
VOR-TECH™ Combustion System: generates temperatures up to 2000°F, secondary combustion air ensures total combustion including wood and smoke, combustion efficiency reaches 99.5%, allowing every possible BTU of energy to be released from the wood and made available as heat.
High Performance Heat Exchanger: the 2000°F air leaving the VOR-TECH™ chamber then flows into the high performance vertical flue-type heat exchanger and exits at temperatures as cool as 280°F, accomplishing overall system efficiency up to 86%.
EASY SWEEP System: moving the external EASY SWEEP handle activates the rocker system which moves the spirals inside the vertical heat exchanger up and down, cleaning the heat exchanger surfaces.
GALVANEEL Housing: precision formed heavy 18 gauge GALVANEEL housing assembles to a tight fit keeping rain and snow from penetrating the furnace housing and ensuring superior durability against outdoor elements.
DC/ECM Induction Fan: many benefits including higher electrical efficiency compared to older shaded pole and PSC motor technology, longer average service life, and the ability to run the motor at any speed for optimal furnace performance.
