Wood Pellet Boilers

Central Wood Heating

Pellergy provides a wide range of wood pellet heating system components, from the Pellergy imported Windhager wood pellet boilers, the Heizomat ASME rated wood pellet boilers, indoor and outdoor wood pellet storage systems, thermal storage tanks and bulk pellet handling components for wood pellets. Wood pellet heating systems typically have four components—a burner (located inside a boiler), a pellet storage unit (hopper or bulk bin), a pellet conveyor (vacuum suction or auger) to transfer the pellets from the hopper to the burner, and a controller that responds to the building’s thermostat and automates the entire system.

We provide our customers with full system design support to ensure the best possible installation of our wood pellet heating systems. Contact our team to learn more about our services.

Why wood pellets?

Wood pellet heating systems use proven, familiar combustion principles. The fuel is locally sourced, clean-burning, stably priced, and abundant. When you purchase wood pellet fuel you are supporting the local forest economy; helping to ensure our working lands are maintained. 80% of all money spent on wood pellet fuel remains in the local economy as opposed to only 20% spent on traditional fossil fuels (gas, oil and propane). Wood pellet fuel is a carbon-better heating solution, and with the most recent advances in combustion controls, pellet burning is clean and efficient. Pellergy’s wood pellet boilers are all EPA and/or State approved to meet the highest in particulate emissions standards and offer cleaner combustion than some old oil systems in operation today. Furthermore, if you switch to wood pellets for fuel, you’ll cut your fuel bills by up to 50% every year.

Upgrading your existing system?

Upgrading your oil or gas heating system to wood pellet fuel requires little to no modification to your existing heating system. All existing system controls and safety features are retained. The Windhager BioWIN2 boilers provided by Pellergy are fully self-contained units that can link directly to your existing plumbing and heating system, with or without the existing (gas, oil or propane) boiler remaining. Pellergy systems are approved by homeowner’s insurance companies, pre-approved by mortgage lenders, and—a real bonus—wood-pellet heating systems qualify for federal (and often state) tax credits and rebates.

Deciding on a new system?

Starting with a fresh slate allows for the ultimate customization of your home heating system. Some things to consider when choosing a brand new wood pellet heating system include your budget, space available, location of the system, and what you want to be included within the new home’s power budget. One of the most important factors in designing a new system is choosing the energy source for your home’s heating and cooling. Whether it’s building from an existing source, adding a whole new source, or using a combination, Pellergy will help brainstorm, install, and maintain your system for optimal performance. Pellergy’s past is rooted in wood pellet combustion systems; however, we also specialize in fully electric heating solutions utilizing advanced hydronic heat pump systems as well. How It Works
