Pellergy installs and maintains the Chiltrix CX34 or 35 and CX50 Air to Water Heat Pump Systems. The Chiltrix model CX34 was recently updated to the CX35, now with R32 refrigerant and a higher heating capacity of 3.4 tons (COP 4.9)–formerly 2.8 tons, COP 3.93–and 2 tons while cooling (EER 22.40). The CX50 model has a cooling capacity of 3.5 (EER 21.15) and a heating capacity of 4.75 (COP 4.62).

How It Works
Like any other air source heat pump, the Chiltrix CX35 and CX50 pulls air from outside and extracts the heat from it. The heat is then transferred to water (air to water) which circulates throughout the home or building and heats the zones it is sent to. This makes it easy for the Chiltrix systems to be integrated with existing systems or additional heating and cooling solutions. The CX35 can connect to up to 8 indoor units, such as mini-splits, ducted units, and domestic water heating, and the CX50 can support more than 12 indoor units. These systems pair especially well with radiant, boiler, and hydronic systems.
