Pellergy LLC is a Vermont owned and locally operated company that is dedicated to the manufacture, distribution, and sale of renewable heating and cooling systems. Pellergy started in 2006 as a manufacturer of conversion pellet burners, pellet boilers, and bulk wood pellet storage units, providing home heating contractors with an alternative to fossil fuel heating.
Our Story
The Company
In 2013 Pellergy teamed with Europe’s premier wood pellet boiler manufacturer in Austria: Windhager, to provide the Best Heating Technology available in the world. Pellergy’s Windhager BioWIN2 wood pellet boilers represent the latest in pellet boiler technology: They’re Automated Wood Heat.
Recognizing the public demand for electrification, in 2021 Pellergy began to leverage internal expertise in hydronics to incorporate Air to Water Heat Pumps into their offering of solutions. Today, Pellergy works with both domestic and imported Air Source Heat Pump manufacturers to provide a wide range of heating and cooling solutions to customers. Additionally, in 2024 Pellergy obtained International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) certification for the installation and service of ground source heat pumps; further expanding on their expertise in the design, installation, and servicing of hydronic and Geothermal heating and cooling systems.
Today
In 2024 Pellergy also began working with Heizomat, Germany’s premier manufacturer of biomass boilers developed specifically to use low-grade wood chips, pellets, and wood waste such as sawdust. The Heizomat RHK-AK Series of boiler represents the world’s best and cleanest combustion technology incorporating an ASME pressure vessel design with state-of-the art combustion and Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) emissions controls.
In keeping with our traditional business model, Pellergy continues to work directly with local home-heating companies and technicians to install and service all represented product lines. They support customers with 24/7 live-person technical support with a readily accessible team of technical experts who know every aspect of our systems. Pellergy assists installers and home heating contractors with the initial setup of the system, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance whenever questions may arise. Because there is very little standardization in today’s renewable home-heating and cooling world, installers are trained to meet customers’ frequent need for a custom or semi-custom design. Pellergy’s factory-trained-and-certified installers have all the required state or municipal licenses.
In order to keep up with the most current technical advances and to stay in tune to the “voice of the customer,” Pellergy also offers limited direct design and installation services to Homeowners, Businesses, and Municipalities. Pellergy’s staff maintain certifications in the State of Vermont to be able to provide services requiring Master Plumber, Apprentice, EPA 608 Universal Refrigeration, LP Gas and Oil Technical Certifications, Residential Service and Installation IGSPA Certification, and maintain Design Service software licenses to provide a wide range of renewable HVAC options to customers.

Pellergy’s automated wood heating systems enable home and business owners to choose a heating fuel that comes directly from our northern forests. The wood pellet and chip industry supports U.S. jobs in many fields: forest management, logging, equipment and pellet & chip manufacturing, pellet retailing and delivery, and equipment installation and maintenance. Our combustion-free, heat pump based hydronic systems offer customers the ability to incorporate Photovoltaic power generation to provide a locally-produced electrified solution for home heating and cooling.
Pellergy’s systems offerings are all Underwriters Laboratories approved and have undergone real-world testing for the last two decades. Pellergy systems are approved by homeowner’s-insurance companies, pre-approval by mortgage lenders, and—a real bonus—both wood pellet heating systems and Heat Pumps qualify for federal (and often state) tax credits and local rebate programs that promote Automated Wood Heating and Renewable Electrification.
